Sentinel Wealth Management specializes in managing investments and commission-free insurance products for individuals and small companies. We are NAPFA fiduciaries by definition, and do not accept commissions for any investment or insurance products implemented within a financial plan. Without the conflict of interest posed by product sales, our clients are secure from poor advice given by commissioned advisors. Thanks to the elimination of commissions, our investment, insurance, and annuity products likely significantly outperform their commissioned product counterparts. The commission that would have gone to a broker is then returned to the investor, likely increasing the performance of said investment, insurance, or annuity product.

We believe in the concept of “Exclusivity Through Inclusivity”. We are “inclusive”, in that we maintain a zero-minimum net worth policy, and do not reject those who have few or no assets to invest. We are “exclusive” in that we do not accept just any individual or company searching for fiduciary advice, but rather interview potential clients to identify which are best suited for our mathematics-based fiduciary advising. Rather than focus on the size of the account as most firms do, our client selection is based on personality and understanding of why certain recommendations would be made. The primary focus of our financial planning process is meeting the client’s needs, reaching goals, and finding the sweet spot between client emotions towards investment risk, and math-based investment/insurance recommendations.

While most investment advisory firms scramble for the assets of any willing client, we only accept certain clients to join our firm’s clientbase. Prior to working with Sentinel Wealth Management, prospective clients are interviewed during a brief initial meeting. Here, we will present our financial planning methodology that is supported by objective calculations and research. Following the initial interview, we will then only offer acceptance to individuals who wish to receive transparent financial planning advice that is supported by mathematics, objective data, and studies. In doing this, we place the greatest importance on long-term client education over product sales. Our ideal client accepts advice that is mathematically correct, regardless of their personal net worth or status. As your fiduciary advisor, we are here to educate you as to why your recommendations are the way they are, not regurgitate the misleading sales tactics posed by commissioned investments or insurance sales.

He has graduated from San Diego State University with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Services. Ryan also holds FINRA Securities and state insurance licenses that include the Series 7, 63, 65, & California Life & Health Insurance Certifications.
